"Climbing a Mountain & into the Clouds they go"
The weather was gorgeous and the time was right ......forgot a nap and lets go hiking - and that is exactly what they did. Daniel and Landon ventured off into the wilderness on Sunday afternoon for a climb at Flattop peak. He was not planning on taking Landon to the "TOP," but sure enough Landon persisted and his little legs marched right up and up and up until they did make it to the "TOP." Daniel was so proud of his little boy. It sure is a lot of work for a little man to go that far, but HE prevailed and had fun every 
step of the way. Along the way they picked berries and captured beautiful pictures of God's majesty and beauty here in Alaska. I love see the beautiful trees and brush that are now turning fall colors - this is my favorite time of year! They had a great "father-son" time, they have so much fun together. I am blessed beyond measure that Daniel and Landon have such a special bond, a special relationship at this age that I know will grow and become stronger as he gets older. Daddy is truly his "big hero." They are so special to me!

Wow! Way to go Daniel and Landon. What an acomplishment! I just love the pictures, too. It is always so beautiful there this time of year.
that is so funny our husbands think alike...brent said they probably missed each other by half hour :) we are so blessed to had such awesome husbands ~krista~
