"I see Baby"

This past Friday, Daniel, Landon and I all saw BABY!! Landon was just amazed at what he was seeing on the monitor in front of us! He says, "that's my baby sister?" Well, yes it is a baby, but we do not know if its a sister or brother yet! We also got to HEAR the heartbeat for the first time - just amazing! The heartbeat was on the high end of 155 - you know what the old wives tales say about that ..........smile smile! After hearing the heartbeat, Landon said to the sonographer, "I want to hear that boom boom again" (heartbeat) - just too cute! It was just awesome to see this little baby moving about in my belly and right before our eyes! I had this pre-natal screening early on to assure that baby was doing okay and sure enough the baby is measuring a little larger than what my dates say it should be at (almost 13 1/2 weeks) and all the anatomical parts that should be present are there - she could even see fluid in its bladder and she said, "well we know baby can swallow." It was just incredible to see the baby and how much it has grown in just 20 some days from my last scan. The baby thought it was really funny to show us its backside too! I got great pictures! The top picture is baby's profile and the bottom picture is baby looking at his/her hands and bringing them around its face and at one point in the scan it looked like baby was waving at us! Enjoy!
