'Tis the Season - Getting ready for the Holidays!

Are you all getting ready for the holidays? Thanksgiving came and went so fast this year and now its almost Christmas!! Whew! To back up, we did have a great Thanksgiving - Daniel, Landon, and I all went to Tulsa, Ok to visit my family for the Thanksgiving holiday! It was so great to have my whole family there to celebrate this special time of the year ....it was sad to leave though! Landon had fun playing with his cousins Blake and Easton and we did lots of fun things with all the boys! I will give credit to my sister, Krystal, who did a very good job captioning our trip there on her blogspot, which you can view under my favorites as "Rogers." Now into Christmas, my most favorite time of the year! I just love all the holiday lights, music, and festivities going on around town! Pictured above is our Christmas tree, which quite honestly looks better without the camera flash to it, and then of course Landon who is also in full holiday spirit wrapped up as a gift under the Christmas tree - he he! His favorite song to sing is Feliz Navidad! I just have to video tape him singing this one day - it is so funny - especially when it gets to the Spanish part - you just have to laugh!

Baby update: My last appt was on December 6th (23 weeks) and everything is going well! Baby is moving lots & lots and just this morning Daniel and Landon could actually see the baby moving just by looking at my belly! It is soooo awesome - except for when the baby is doing somersaults in my belly at 5:45 a.m. - I guess he is just preparing me for that early morning feeding after he is born! As of now, we talked about scheduling a "delivery date" and it is tentatively set for Tuesday, March 25th. As time gets closer and if I start contracting or having any problems she will go a little earlier. Geez, March just seems just around the corner! Besides getting everything ready for Christmas, I am also preparing the house for another little one. I am actually enjoying purging closets and getting rid of things I have not used in a long time.

Well, Landon is bugging me to play Candyland with him so I better get going! Amanda
